Ocean Talks: The Tides Are Changing

Ocean Talks wish to welcome you to our first talk this semester, The Tides Are Changing!

The ocean is a system in constant change, but due to human activity, these changes now happen at a far greater speed than before. Ocean acidification, melting sea-ice, changes in the ecosystem and a rise in sea levels, are just some of the changes we can see today.

Not only is the ocean as a system changing, but also our knowledge of it. As the ocean resources has been greatly exploited during the last century, we have started to see the consequences of our actions.
